We will once again have visits from the Salomon Trail Tour, but this time there will be two new competitors who form this international team; Bjørn Axelsen and Allan Lyngholm. They will compete in the 12-hour mode of the Rogaining Gran Canaria and much certainly wanting to stand on the top of the podium.

The municipality of Tejeda has given us the remodeled village hostel in the old town, a short walk from services such as supermarkets, petrol station, shops and the final party zone for the event.

Hard Floors, we are organizing to use the football field with artificial turf, and get tents installed by The Military Unit.

Complementary offers, the municipality of Tejeda offers a wide range of accommodations in the charming old town. 

A few days ago, we began the search for the best locations to place the controls, map updating and enjoy doing what we like, running around with a map and compass.

We also take this occasion to test a GPS positioning system that has been used in the World Rogaining Championships 2013/14 and would give an increase in quality, and we could follow the progress of the various teams with automatic controls in our web and social networks as well as on a large screen in the finish area .... but still we are in the experimental phase, we have to evaluate its inclusion depending on institutional support.

At the request of the FEDO (The Spanish Orienteering Federation) we have chosen to perform the Spanish Rogaining Marathon Championship-2014 in the 6 hours mode, to continue as planned the Spanish League.

 2.1. Possession of the annual license FEDO, to qualify for the Spanish Championship or apply for the
corresponding competition license to participate in the competition without participation in the Spanish Championship.

In parallel we also have the 12, 6 and 3 hour modes OPEN Rogaining Gran Canaria (with different categories, as we have done so far).

11th European Rogaining Championships were held last week-end in 
South-East corner of Estonia with the event center in Orava village.
612 participants in 289 teams from 15 countries marks the new record 
number of participants at ERCs.

The terrain was typical for that part of Estonia - pine and spruce 
dominated forest, relatively flat with some areas of.....

The RTC (Rogaining Team Canary Islands) is the first team with two members from different clubs; OrientaGC (Gaston Mora, Gran Canaria) and Cambate Las Patas (Isaac Correa, Tenerife) that will travel to the International Rogaining competition in Catalunya, both with support from the Gran Canaria Rogaining organization that has facilitated their participation, and during this event they will promote our fourth edition and get to know another organization.
